Creator Spotlight: Ideal Buildout

If you think you can't find a Disney fan reimagining and recreating Disney Parks, both real and imagined, in a way that compares to the work of Walt Disney Imagineering, meet Ideal Buildout.

Ideal Buildout is creating super fleshed-out overhead plans of imagined expansions to Disney theme parks worldwide. Their name comes from the Imagineering phrase "full buildout," which refers to the stage at which the entire park or resort is fully completed, having used all of its expansion pads. Therefore, because they are working in their imagination, they are able to complete an "ideal buildout," not being burdened with pesky things like budgets.

Most recently, Ideal Buildout has imagined an alternate EPCOT that stays true to the park's original vision while enhancing the park in some unique ways.

But that's not all; Ideal Buildout has also created their very own iterations of Disney park concepts, such as the park below, dubbed the "Mega Kingdom."

They also detailed each land on their blog, highlighting elements like the Grand Victorian Hotel, Discovery Bay, and a reimagined Adventureland.
